What does Black Tie Optional mean?

Black Tie Optional gives guests the opportunity to dress formally while allowing for personal style and comfort. For women: Floor-length gowns, elegant cocktail dresses, or formal midi dresses are all appropriate. For men: Tuxedos are welcome but not required; a dark suit with a dress shirt and tie is perfectly acceptable. Overall, think elevated, formal, and refined—we can’t wait to see you dressed to celebrate.

Are children invited?

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration, with the exception of a few children who are part of our wedding party and immediate family. Our venue is located directly beside the river, and for everyone’s comfort and safety, we kindly ask that guests make arrangements for childcare. We truly appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you.

What will the weather be like?

Early June typically brings mild, sunny days with daytime temperatures in the 70s°F, while evenings can cool into the 50s–60s°F. We recommend dressing with layers in mind, especially for the evening portion of the celebration.

Will the events take place outside or indoors?

Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner will be held outdoors, weather permitting, with dancing indoors later in the evening. We encourage guests (especially ladies) to consider block heels, wedges, or flats, as well as bringing a light jacket or wrap for the evening. Heel stoppers will be available at the venue if needed.

What time should we arrive?

Please plan to arrive 15–30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time to allow for parking and seating.

When does the party end?

The reception wraps up at 10:00 PM. We'll share details on any after-party plans closer to the date.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony and remain fully present with us in the moment. Our professional photographer will capture everything beautifully.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Please be sure to note any dietary restrictions when you RSVP (upon receiving your invitations) so we can accommodate you accordingly.
